【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstheminimumrequirementsfor,andthemethodsofapplicationof,interiorlathingandfurringtoreceivegypsumplasterappliedinaccordancewithSpecificationC842.Othermaterialsarenotprohibitedfrombeingusedprovidedthattheirphysicalcharacteristicsanddurabilityunderconditionsofusageareatleastequalinperformancetothosedescribed.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Detailsofconstructionforaspecificassemblytoachievetherequiredfireresistanceshallbeobtainedfromreportsoffire-resistancetests,engineeringevaluations,orlistingsfromrecognizedfiretestinglaboratories.1.4Whereaspecificdegreeofsoundcontrolisrequiredforplasteredassembliesandconstructions,detailsofconstructionshallbeobtainedfromreportsofsoundtestsofassembliesthathavemettherequirementsofTestMethodE492.
