【摘要】:1ProductdefinitionThisspecificationcontainstheinitial,startoflifedimensional,optical,mechanicalandenvironmentalperformancerequirementswhichaterminatedandassembledsinglemoderesilientalignmentsleeveFC/PCconnectorset(plugadaptorplug)mustmeetinorderforittobecategorisedasanENstandardproduct.Sincedifferentvariantsandgradesofperformancearepermitted,productmarkingdetailsaregivenin3.5.2IntermateabilityAlthoughallproductsconformingtotherequirementsofthisspecificationwillintermate,theresultinglevelofrandomattenuationperformancewillonlybeensuredinaccordancewithTable1Theintentionisthatthiswillbetrueirrespectiveofthemanufacturingsource(s)oftheproduct.Inallcases,theintermatingofplugvariantshavingdifferentattenuationgradeswillresultinanuncertainlevelofrandomattenuationperformance.Similarly,whenintermatingplugvariantshavingdifferentreturnlossgrades,theresultinglevelofreturnlosscannotbeassuredtobeanybetterthantheworstreturnlossgrade.3OperatingenvironmentThetestsselectedcombinedwiththeseveritiesanddurationsarerepresentativeofanexternalweatherprotectedenvironmentdefinedby-IEC61753-1-2categoryU:uncontrolledenvironment-ES300671externalweatherprotectedenvironmentdefinedbyES300019[8]classes3.3,3.4and3.5.4ReliabilityWhilsttheanticipatedservicelifeexpectancyoftheproductinthisenvironmentis20years,compliancewiththisspecificationdoesnotguaranteethereliabilityoftheproduct.Thisshouldbepredictedusingarecognisedreliabilityassessmentprogramme.5QualityassuranceCompliancewiththisspecificationdoesnotguaranteethemanufacturingconsistencyoftheproduct.Thisshouldbemaintainedusingarecognisedqualityassuranceprogramme.
