【摘要】:Thesoundtransmissionlossprovidedbyamaterialthatcoversaflatsurfacedependsnotonlyonthephysicalpropertiesofthematerialbutalsoonthetypeofstructuretowhichitismountedandthemountingmethodused.Navalandmarinearchitectsanddesignengineersrequirespecifictransmissionlosscharacteristicsofacousticaltreatmentmaterialsastheywouldexhibitinstalledonaship''sstructure.Themountingstructureandproceduresspecifiedinthesepracticesareintendedtosimulatesuchashipboardenvironment.TestreportsmayrefertothismountingbyPracticesE1123insteadofprovidingadetaileddescriptionofthemountingused.1.1ThesepracticesdescribetestspecimenmountingstobeusedfornavalandmarineshipapplicationsduringsoundtransmissionlosstestsperformedinaccordancewithTestMethodE90.1.2Thestructurespecifiedinthesepracticesisintendedformountingofsingle-layertreatmentsorcompositetreatmentsconsistingofvariousmaterialsandconfigurations.Acousticaltreatmentmaterialsmaybecombinationsofacousticalabsorbentmaterials,limpmassseptums,andinsulationmaterials.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
